On this page we would like to familiarize you with some of the dangers to our liberty as well as provide resources out there that are carrying the torch for individual freedom. Stories we post will include a short summary backed by a link to the source. Nothing posted here will be unsubstantiated rumor. Please check back frequently to keep up to date on this rapidly growing encroachment of our rights.
Check out these stories on the AIG bailouts and the way Congress is stoking rage at these private individuals. Keep in mind that AIG didn't come take your money; your government (starting with Bush) took it and gave it to them. Now Congress and the President of hope and change have followed suit, given them more of your money, and want to put on a big show where they invoke the name of 'The People' in heaping shame and wrath on employees who, in many cases, did nothing wrong. Ask yourself where the outrage is in Congress for Franklin Raines who walked away from Fannie Mae with a $90,000,000.00 bonus in taxpayer money. Is Congress going to get that back? Not a chance. Are there greedy executives we don't want to pay? YES! Just remember this: ONLY the government can (and did) force you to pay these businesses for failure. To pretend outrage now is an insult to the intelligence of the American People. Do not be distracted by this bait and switch game they are playing. Lay blame where it belongs, with the force that robbed you in favor of big banks and big business: Lay the Blame In Washington.
